“The LNT Trainer Course is a vital component of the national Leave No Trace program. Participants will receive introductory training in Leave No Trace skills and ethics during this weekend course. It is designed for educators, guides, agency employees, other outdoor professionals and anyone interested in learning more about minimum impact skills and ethics. This course covers the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace as well as techniques for disseminating these low impact skills. All participants will leave the weekend with the skills, tools, and resources needed conduct their own exciting Leave No Trace awareness workshop. Each participant will demonstrate their teaching skills in a 10-15 minute presentation of a Leave No Trace topic as assigned by the trainers.
