We had four successful Postcards for Public Lands events this month!
Hoping to provide some education on the intended repeal of the Roadless Rule and encourage public comments, we held community postcard writing events. Special thanks to Life in Long Creek & Humble Pie, Oldknow Bev. Co. in Clayton, and the Patagonia – Beltline store in Atlanta for hosting us!
Our community really showed up.
Between the four events, we were able to gather over 200 postcard comments! We will be sending these to the appropriate contact at the USDA ahead of the deadline on October 6th.
